Although I was already selling motorcycles at Bouffard Plein Air in 1970, my passion for these vehicles really took off when I bought my very first motorcycle in 1973. After that, I participated in several competitions and even organized races in the region as part of the Canadian Motorcycle circuit.
A little more than a year after Bouffard Plein Air closed, I decided to open my own store in the Petit-Matane area. It wasn’t easy in those early days, but through hard work and my great passion for motorcycles, I managed to grow my business – with so much success that seven years later we moved to our current location, which has since been expanded and updated.
I have been very fortunate to have had my wife Chantal St-Pierre constantly by my side; she has always taken charge of the service department and some of the administrative tasks. We are also lucky to have long-standing business partners. Indeed, this year we celebrate not only the company’s 40th anniversary but also our four decades of partnership with Yamaha motorcycles and Polaris snowmobiles.
All of our team members are as passionate as the customers they serve. It’s no wonder that service comes first! We have won a number of awards and prizes over the years.
Our four expert technicians are renowned and meticulous, making our mechanical workshop well known throughout the region and beyond. Not only do we repair everything we sell, but we also regularly repair other brands.
Obviously, our customers come from the Matane region, but we also have customers from Gaspé, the Matapedia Valley and Rimouski. Everyone appreciates the store’s family atmosphere. Team spirit is very strong here and the same can be said about our staff’s feeling of belonging. Our workforce is stable year round; everyone is happy and customers are quick to realize this.
